When the Mutt Mat arrived I unrolled it in several locations around my house and told my dog Twix to "settle" on his new mat. After three or four locations he was happily jumping on his mat. The next day I took Twix and his mat with me to a favorite outdoor eatery. Twix hopped on to the seat, unprompted, before I could even unroll the mat completely. He loves it!
